Creating labels with GMPrint
Choose your label stock from the selection of sheet-feed and pin-feed stocks listed here (link to a new page listing the stocks shown on page 15 of the catalog) and on page 15 of our catalog.
Depending on whether you picked blank or partially preprinted labels, type your headers, field identifiers and data into GMPrint. Choose the placement on the label, type styles and sizes.
You may add more to your label: GMPrint will print each label with a sequential number, batch data, and date stamp. When you're done, tell GMPrint how many labels to print. Help screens are included in the Designer and User programs.
Validate GMPrint at your facility
Current GMP regulations require that, when computers are used as part of a quality system, the software must be validated for its intended use according to an established protocol.
GMP Labeling has produced a set of protocols for testing GMPrint which we believe will satisfy regulatory requirements after you have run the tests and documented the results at your facility. The validation protocols comprise a 33-page editable document.
Downloading GMPrint Version 6.2.3
Clicking on the link below will download the file gmprint_623_install.exe to the folder of your choice. Double-click on the file name to extract its contents, then double-click on setup.exe to initiate the installation.
The setup program will copy files to a temporary folder. When finished, a dialog box is displayed asking you where you would like the setup program to install GMPrint. From this point on simply follow the directions on the screen. When finished, we suggest you read the installed Quick Start Guide.
If you already have GMPrint on your computer, Version 6.2.3 can be installed in the same folder as earlier 6.x versions. The default folder is C:\Program Files\GMPrint. For versions prior to 6.0 the default folder is C:\GMPrint. The previous version does not have to be uninstalled.
GMPrint includes images for our standard computer-print labels. To use previously created labels with version 6.2.3, the labels must be imported using the GMPrint Designer version. See the Quick Start Guide included with the download.
