Regulatory Compliance Labels
GHS Hazard Pictograms
The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) was created to standardize chemical identification so that the hazards are quickly identified and understood. GHS Pictograms are a series of 9 icons, along with a signal word and additional information, that can be used in the workplace to label chemicals that may pose a hazard to employees.
Chemicals are used widely in laboratories and manufacturing - utilizing our GHS labels helps meet GHS regulatory compliance standards as well as promote a safe working environment.
NFPA Diamonds
The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has designed a hazard diamond that communicates types and severity of hazards posed by chemicals and materials. Each of the four sections of the diamond represent a different type of hazard, including health and flammability, and a number from 0 to 4 communicates the severity of that hazard.
Our chemical and reagent labels with NFPA diamonds are used in laboratories and other healthcare settings to identify chemicals and communicate hazards via NFPA diamonds to promote workplace safety and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
IATA Battery Hazard Labels
When shipping lithium metal or lithium ion batteries, a label that meets IATA Regulatory Standards for transportation of hazardous materials must be used.
Our Battery Hazard Labels are designed to meet IATA standards ensuring that you remain in compliance with international shipping regulations. Our labels help your company ship batteries safely, remain in compliance with IATA, and properly identify hazardous materials.
FDA and GMP Compliance Labels
The US FDA manages regulatory standards for medical device manufacturers, which include proper labeling and identification of devices. While devices that are part of clinical investigations and studies are exempt from many FDA and GMP regulations, the device must be identified with a label that states "CAUTION - Investigational device. Limited by United States law to investigational use."
ISO Cleanroom Compatible
Many of our customers operate a cleanroom that requires careful management of particulates and contaminants. ISO and the FDA both maintain a classification standard for cleanrooms and the allowable airborne particulate levels.
Consumables, such as labels, are an often overlooked source of particulate matter. We can manufacture labels with materials that meet specific requirements ensuring that your facility adheres to ISO cleanroom classifications. Using plastic labels and liners, plastic cores, pre-cleaning services, and double bagging, GMP Labeling is the label partner of choice for companies requiring ISO cleanroom compliance.
Food Contact Regulations
Requirements for indirect food contact follow FDA CFR 175.105 requirements, ensuring that labels and adhesives are safe to be applied to secondary packaging on food, pharmaceuticals, and often medical devices. GMP Labeling can source materials and adhesives for indirect food contact compliant labels.
