What is a UN3480 Label Used For?
This label is used to identify lithium ion batteries that are shipped separately or not contained in a device or equipment.
This label meets IATA standards for the transport of lithium ion batteries. There is a field on each label that allows the user to provide a phone number for questions or concerns about a package/shipment. Shipping UN3480 Lithium-Ion Batteries Separately
Properly identify battery shipments with this battery hazard transport label. Per IATA regulations, any lithium ion or lithium metal battery must be properly labeled and identified prior to transport by air. Our battery transport labels are designed to meet IATA requirements for lithium battery identification. In order to meet IATA labeling requirements, this label is 4.75" x 4.5", has a 5mm wide red diagonal hash border and UN marker of 12mm height. Ensure that you properly identify hazards, transport products safely, and meet international regulatory standards by using GMP Labeling's battery transport labels.
