Summary

The Globally Harmonized System (GHS) standardizes how hazardous materials are identified and communicated. A compliant label should include:

1. A product Identifier

  • Identifies the chemical o mixture (name, code, or batch number)
  • Must match Section 1 of the SDS

Use: Ensures traceability and prevents mix-ups on the floor.

2. GHS Pictograms

  • Red diamond with black hazard symbols
  • Indicates chemical, physical, or health risks

✔ Helps with fast hazard recognition, even before reading text

Environmental Hazardous Label - GHS Pictogram Label
Health Hazard Label - GHS Pictogram Label
Exclamation Mark Pictogram Label - GHS Pictogram Label
Toxic - GHS Warning Label
Corrosive Label - GHS Pictogram Label
